Ingredienser 

Main Ingredients

  • 250 g paneer cubed
  • 300 g fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 2 units tomatoes pureed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • to taste salt
  • 2 tablespoon cream optional

Instruktioner 

  1. Blanch spinach leaves in boiling water for 2 minutes, then blend into a smooth paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  5. Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until oil separates.
  6. Add spinach paste and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add paneer cubes and garam masala. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Stir in cream if using, and cook for 2 more minutes.
