Main Ingredients
- 200 g Lentils rinsed
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 L Vegetable Broth
- 2 Carrots chopped
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
3. Add the chopped carrots and cook for another 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the cumin, salt, and black pepper.
5. Add the rinsed lentils and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.
7. Use an immersion blender to blend the soup to your desired consistency.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
