Dough
- 500 g All-purpose flour
- 250 g Butter cold and cubed
- 200 ml Buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Filling
- 100 g Marzipan grated
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 Egg beaten, for brushing
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and rub it into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Pour in the buttermilk and mix until a dough forms. Do not overwork the dough.
Roll out the dough into a large rectangle and cut into triangles.
In a small bowl, mix together the grated marzipan, sugar, and vanilla extract. Place a small amount of filling at the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, forming a horn shape. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush each horn with beaten egg.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
