Ingredienser 

Dough

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 250 g Butter cold and cubed
  • 200 ml Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Filling

  • 100 g Marzipan grated
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 Egg beaten, for brushing

Instruktioner 

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and rub it into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  3. Pour in the buttermilk and mix until a dough forms. Do not overwork the dough.
  4. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle and cut into triangles.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the grated marzipan, sugar, and vanilla extract. Place a small amount of filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, forming a horn shape. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush each horn with beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
