Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 2 large Carrots chopped
- 2 stalks Celery chopped
- 1 large Onion quartered
- 2 cloves Garlic crushed
- 2 leaves Bay leaves
- 10 whole Black peppercorns
- 2 liters Water
1. Put chicken pieces in a large pot.
2. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaves, and peppercorns.
3. Pour in water to cover ingredients.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
5. Strain the stock and discard solids.
6. Let the stock cool and store in the fridge or freezer.
