Fondue Opskrift
En klassisk opskrift på fondue, perfekt til en hyggelig aften.

Fondue Ingredients
- 200 g Gruyère cheese grated
- 200 g Emmental cheese grated
- 1 clove Garlic halved
- 300 ml Dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
- 30 ml Kirsch optional
- to taste Salt and pepper
- to taste Nutmeg grated
- 1 loaf Crusty bread cut into cubes
Rub the inside of a fondue pot with the cut sides of the garlic halves. Discard the garlic.
Pour the wine and lemon juice into the pot and heat gently until hot, but not boiling.
Gradually add the cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
Mix the cornstarch with the water and stir into the cheese mixture. Cook gently, stirring, until thickened and smooth.
Add the kirsch, if using, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste.
Serve with cubes of crusty bread for dipping.
