- 2 tablespoon Buttermilk
Combine heavy cream and buttermilk in a bowl. Stir well.
Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let it sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours, until thickened.
Stir the mixture again and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using.
